Waco Premier Interlink provide market leading modular construction solutions, supplying modular buildings as classrooms, healthcare facilities and office environments to the construction industry and end users throughout the world.
Relevant Target Areas:
Main Contractors, Local Authorities, Healthcare & Education |
| |
Our Remit:
Since early 2006 Results has worked in various capacities on behalf of Waco Premier Interlink and our relationship continues to evolve with Results providing solutions across numerous areas of the business. After completing a successful pilot designed to create sales leads in volume for sales reps to follow up, our relationship has developed to a point where Results is used as a strategic resource to develop specific types of opportunity in designated end user markets and areas of the construction industry supply chain.
Detailed below is a summary of the projects delivered by Results on behalf of Waco Premier Interlink:
- Profiling exercise targeting every Local Authority in England. Our remit was to approach Local Authorities to identify and make contact with key decision makers responsible for framework agreements. Our objective was to gather relevant and specific intelligence relating to approved supplier and framework agreements, and to set well qualified meetings with decision makers keen to learn about and embrace this method of construction.
- High level profiling exercise targeting a small but specific group of the UK's leading main contractors. The solution provided by Waco Premier Interlink is by its very nature extremely versatile and can be utilised throughout multiple end user markets such as healthcare, education, pharmaceuticals and defence, in addition to temporary facilities and accommodation throughout construction process. To ensure the most effective use of valuable resources it was agreed that an effective route to multiple markets would be to leverage strong relationships within the main contracting community to raise awareness, educate and create demand at an end user level.
The project delivered significant success and provided Waco Premier Interlink with a profile of each target organisation detailing the business structure, key areas of activity, key points of contact at board, divisional and supply chain levels and an overview of the decision making units and there subsequent decision making processes. In addition to detailed company profiles Results also provided a number of well qualified meetings with senior decision makers able to influence the use of modular building solutions on a sector & company wide basis.
- Following the success of the above project Results was asked to carry out a similar exercise looking at two of the worlds leading pharmaceuticals companies and the UK's Atomic Weapons Establishment (AWE). This project delivered similar levels of results.
- An on-going project designed to qualify and deliver new business opportunities throughout the healthcare and education sectors with specific focus being applied to PFI and Procure21 within healthcare, and Building Schools for the Future (BSF) within education. Our role sees us targeting a combination of end user clients throughout both sectors in addition to supply chain partners such as main contractors and consortia active in the delivery of relevant projects.

| |
Our Remit:
Since 2005 Results has enjoyed a strong relationship with Armstrong Floor Products Europe, and our relationship continues to evolve with us new business opportunities across multiple market sectors including retail, healthcare and education, and supply chain organisations such as architects, main contractors and design companies. Results provide Armstrong with a flexible service designed to meet their short, medium and long term requirements, and with three live projects for 2008 we will continue to deliver qualified opportunities throughout the business.
To ensure performance can be managed and measured across all 3 areas of focus each project is run independently of the other, with dedicated account management and bespoke reporting processes in each area to ensure complete transparency and visibility of performance. This ensures Armstrong can make informed decisions about future project direction and the management and deployment of internal resources.
Detailed below is a summary of the project delivered by Results on behalf of Armstrong Floor Products Europe:
- Pilot scheme designed to identify projects and set well qualified meetings with key decision makers within the London specification community. The pilot duration was 40 days and our target was to set 40 meetings that met a pre agreed criteria, upon completion of the pilot we had exceeded this target by some margin and this ensured a solid foundation was in place to take the relationship forward.
- Since early 2006 we have supported their specification sales team in the identification of opportunities across multiple market sectors. Our role is to identify decision makers working within specific end user markets with a view to setting meetings of an introductory and project specific nature, in addition to setting CPD's within specific architectural practices. We work closely with the team at Armstrong to ensure that the meetings we set on their behalf are aligned to actual needs of the business, changing our focus to control the volume of meetings created thus ensuring best use of resource.
- Retail is a significant market for Armstrong and Results has successfully represented them in this area since 2006. Mabey Support Systems
Company Overview:
Mabey Support Systems is part of the Mabey Group of Companies, a major engineering organisation that specialises in bridging, steel fabrication, temporary works systems and plant hire. Mabey Support Systems is a specialist supplier and contractor providing a comprehensive range of modular temporary works equipment for use in the construction and allied industries.
Relevant Target Sectors:

| |
Our Remit:
Mabey Support Systems developed a 'demountable car park structure' designed to reduce the loss of parking spaces during new build or refurbishment works across multiple sectors and construction environments. One of the most obvious markets for this product is the retail sector as customer satisfaction and subsequent revenues are negatively affected when car parking spaces are unavailable for long periods. Due to the versatile nature of this product it also lends itself to other sectors such as healthcare and rail and alternative uses such as space multiplication for storage, site accommodation and also parking for projects delivered in congested areas such as city centre locations.
Results worked with Mabey to determine the most productive route to market and it was agreed that this would be in the most part via main contractors able to offer in roads in to specific end user markets, with some focus applied to specific end users. Our role is to position this product effectively and demonstrate the range of potential applications. By targeting leading industry players we have been able to secure high-level meetings with business sector heads and key individuals tasked with identifying new and innovative ways of working, in addition to significant direct and indirect interest within the retail sector.
New for 2008 is an additional project to take Mabey Support Systems BarrierGuard product to market. BarrierGuard is a range of products designed to protect the members of the public, motorists and workforces in traffic management schemes.

Our Remit:
ICI Paints wanted to host a series of 'Improving Healthcare Surroundings' seminars. The purpose of the seminar was to help senior estates and facilities managers within the healthcare sector achieve good design at the same time as meeting the demands of Part M (Building Regulations) and infection control strategies. ICI Paints hosted a seminar exploring how to develop safe, inclusive and stimulating environments on time and on budget, highlighting current thinking on colour, legislative impact and product innovation.
ICI Paints provided the contact database and it was the role of Results to apply a strict follow up campaign, working with ICI Paints to ensure the right number of attendees was achieved to maximise the event resources. As is the case with most 3rd party data, there were numerous errors and often the recipients no longer worked in these roles, we provided a data cleansing service which ensured ICI Paints had clean data to work from on future campaigns, we 'sold' the value of the seminar and issued duplicate invitations to 'new' prospects and ensured their attendance where possible. Results ensured ICI Paints achieved their target quota in terms overall attendance to the events.

Honeywell UK
Company Overview:
Honeywell is a recognised global market leader in Automation and Control Solutions, Aerospace, Speciality Materials and Transportation Systems. Results have worked with various division within the Automation and Controls business since 2005.
Relevant Target Sectors:
Food & Beverage, Manufacturing, Pharmaceutical, Chemical |
| |
Our Remit:
Since 2005 Results has delivered various new business development projects on behalf of the Automation & Controls business within Honeywell UK. Working under the same Director and senior management team, our services are deployed and utilised in areas of the business that require additional proactive support in the identification and development of new business opportunities. We work with small and often specialist teams of people taking a variety of complex solutions to multiple market sectors. Detailed below is an overview of the work carried out to date:
- Results first engagement with Honeywell UK was centred on the development of new business opportunities within large organisations that had a need to reduce energy consumption or to improve efficiency. The brief was to target large organisations in sectors where energy consumption was extraordinarily high due to the process employed within the business such as significant heating and/or cooling. Primary sectors included manufacturing, food & beverage, chemical and pharmaceuticals. The objective of the project was to identify companies, who through improved process design and delivery, could become more energy efficient and therefore save significant sums of money.
Results worked with a small team of 4 senior sales consultants and to ensure best use of time and resources the focus of the project was very much centred on quality over quantity. We worked with Honeywell to define a strict criteria that had to be achieved on all meetings set, this criteria included vertical market sectors, size of organisation, nature of business, level of decision maker, level of defined requirements and potential budget allocation. The meeting that were set were with high level decision makers working in engineering or technical capacities.
This project was extremely successful and depending on other demands within the business we still continue to work in this area today.
- Results was asked to work with the sales manager for Scotland to open doors in to specific key accounts. This was a short term project designed to qualify opportunities, gather intelligence and provide an 'in' to some of Honeywell UK's named target customers in Scotland.
- Honeywell Security had a requirement to achieve basic level profiling within named accounts throughout the UK that would have a requirement for high level holistic and integrated security solutions. The requirement was to develop a basic understanding of the business structure and to identify key personnel able to make and influence decisions in specific business areas and deliver this information to Honeywell UK. In some cases we were asked to take things a step further and to set well qualified meetings, which we did.
- Results has recently started to develop new business opportunities for Honeywell in Ireland and to date this project has generated significant interest and opportunity to the point where resources are already becoming stretched.
- To date every project Results has delivered on behalf of Honeywell has been centred on high end solutions where the proposition is often complex and the conversations are with high level decision makers working in technical capacities.

Our Remit:
Trend want to take a new service to market and the first part of this service was an energy audit, on the back of which, modifications and upgrades were made to make systems more efficient and give clients numerous value add benefits such as greater energy efficiency, improved system performance and reduced energy bills.
Trend know that they had a good installed base of building management systems throughout the UK, however due to the fact that they do not sell direct and instead rely on a sales channel, they did not know what clients and what buildings had Trend systems installed. It was decided that our initial target area would be London and we work closely with Trend to establish which building types would be most likely to 1/ have a Trend system installed and 2/ meet the right criteria to increase the opportunity of a positive outcome.
Results developed a database of relevant organisations from within the public and private sector throughout London with a view to approaching senior facilities or energy related personnel depending on the organisational structure. Our role was to identify existing Trend users and sites and to set well qualified meetings for sales managers to sell the overall concept. Results work with two sales managers and therefore the quality of meetings is of paramount importance, high levels of qualification are provided to ensure that the time of this valuable resource is maximised in the most effective areas.

ThyssenKrupp Elevator
Company Overview:
ThyssenKrupp Elevator is one of the worlds leading elevator and escalator organisations serving all market sectors.
Relevant Target Sectors:
Commercial Office, Retail, Hotels, Healthcare, Education, Government, Local Authorities, Housing Associations, Property & Facility Management, Lift & M&E Consultants |
| |
Our Remit:
Results has represented ThyssenKrupp Elevator since 2002. Our role for ThyssenKrupp has evolved over the years and we now provide sales and business development support to all of the Southern sales teams on a full time, 5 day per week basis. Our role is to identify and develop new business opportunities centred on the service, modernization and refurbishment of existing lift portfolios throughout all market sectors. In addition to the targeting of end user clients we have also worked with ThyssenKrupp to help identify and develop high level opportunities with some of the UK's leading property and facility management companies, this approach has lead to relationships that have created significant 'channels to market', generating repeat business opportunities over longer period of time.
Results has also worked with ThyssenKrupp in other areas as follows:
- Throughout 2004/5 Results worked with ThyssenKrupp Europe to build on the results achieved in the UK by delivering a similar level of service on behalf of the European divisions of ThyssenKrupp Elevator. The project was rolled out in 6 European cities and Results employed the relevant linguists where required. The European market is quite different to that in the UK however in general it is less competitive and less aggressive and as such our proactive and disciplined approach to targeting new business was very successful.
- In 2006 Results delivered a 9-month project for ThyssenKrupp Escalators which was designed to identify and develop new business opportunities for new escalator installations. The project was successful and opened many news doors for ThyssenKrupp, however due to the relatively small size of this market it was decided that financial resources would be better applied elsewhere although this is something that may again be visited in the future.

Relevant Target Sectors:

| |
Our Remit:
Results has worked with Efficient Air since 2005 and continues to enjoy an extremely productive working relationship. Unlike some of our clients, Efficient Air is not a nationally or internationally recognised brand and therefore rely heavily on the strength of their proposition to open doors to some of the UK's largest clients. Results role is to work closely with the UK Sales & Marketing Director and his team of experienced sales engineers to ensure to focus our efforts in areas that ensure exactly the right mix of new business opportunities is created.
Since we started working together, Results has been able to open doors to some of the UK's leading businesses and global financial institutions, a market which is of significant value to Efficient Air Ltd. Results has successfully helped Efficient Air to significantly improve their average sale potential by targeting organisations that offer significant repeat business opportunities due to the size of their property portfolios.
We have recently embarked on a new brief to target end user organisations that use close control technology within datacentres and IT & telecomms suits. The basic proposition is not dissimilar to previous briefs however close control offers higher value sales and is more complex to target due to the cross over between IT and facilities/energy personnel.

Fire Engineering Associates Ltd
Company Overview:
Fire Engineering Consultant/Contractor specialising in smoke control applications
Relevant Target Sectors:
Numerous end user markets via Consulting Engineers, M&E Contractors, Main Contractors & Other |
| |
Our Remit:
Fire Engineering Associates Ltd is a specialist consultant contractor in the field of smoke control with the organisational capability to provide design/consultancy expertise in addition to contracting capabilities and resources, with a product based sister company (Interactive Special Projects) providing architectural louvre and brise soleil. With such broad capabilities Fire Engineering Associates required a flexible service that enabled them to apply focus to specific business areas as and when required.
Initially Results was asked to target developers and consultants with a view to promoting the design and consultancy capabilities of the company. We would identify relevant points of contact, set introductory meetings and help them build relationships that would yield good returns in the future. We also identified projects at an early stage providing detailed qualification around requirements and set meetings with key decision makers.
More recently the focus of our work has moved within the business and now sees Results focusing on the contracting community identifying projects at a more advanced stage whereby Fire Engineering can sell their contracting capabilities with a view to securing more short term new business opportunities.
We have worked closely with the team at Fire Engineering Associates to ensure we can shape our capabilities to meet the specific needs of their business and we have been equally successful in meeting both sets of objectives.
